GARRY Haylock is running the rule over Peterborough United striker Ben Wright.

The Hayes & Yeading boss cast his eye over the 21-year-old in Saturday's friendly against Wycombe Wanderers, with Wright bagging United's only goal in the 3-1 reverse.

The former Hampton frontman has only made a handful of appearances for Posh since his switch from the Beveree in January last year.

He's spent most of his time out on loan, having spells at Kettering, Luton, Grimsby and Barnet, and has been told he can leave London Road.
