GARRY Haylock has boosted Hayes & Yeading's survival hopes with the loan signings of Crawley Town duo Sam Rents and Steve Masterton.

Defender Rents and midfielder Masterton have fallen down the pecking order at the Broadfield Stadium, and boss Steve Evans has agreed for them to make the temporary switch to Church Road.

The pair are expected to go straight into the squad for tomorrow's clash with Kettering Town.

They join Crawley team-mate Ben Wright in swapping a Blue Square Premier promotion push for a scrap at the other end of the table.
