INFURIATED Harrow Borough boss David Howell has stoked the fires ahead of his team’s trip to Boreham Wood by accusing them of trying to unsettle his squad.
Howell revealed the Meadow Park outfit have made a seven-day approach for striker Dewayne Clarke, who has hit ten league goals so far this season.
"It’s their third seven-day approach from him in two seasons," said Howell. "It’s not good form by them and the timing of it is a little bit cynical.
"I don’t want Dewayne to go but regardless of what happens he will play against them on Saturday. They are looking to unsettle the camp."
In another twist, Howell has made a seven-day approach for one of their players, versatile attacking wide-man Greg Morgan.
