Kurt Morlese will start for Harrow Borough on Saturday after top scorer Dewayne Clarke joined Ryman Premier rivals Boreham Wood on Tuesday.

Manager David Howell will be without centre-half Tobi Jinadu (calf) while there is a doubt over skipper Wayne Walters (flu).

Howell said he was disappointed to lose Clarke's services especially after he formed a failrly productive partnership with journeyman Rocky Baptiste, but has faith in Morlese.

“I'm disappointed at the timing of it," he said. "They've (Boreham Wood) got ten games left and he will be suspended for three of them. He probably wants a bit of money before the end of the season to do whatever with and Boreham Wood were prepared to give it to him.

“But Dewayne and Rocky were not giving me a better return for the chances they have been getting. They are trying to score the goal of the season in every game, which is frustrating.

“Kurt played with Rocky when Clarkey went AWOL earlier this season and he will get a chance to show what he can do on Saturday. We might see a different Rocky as a result as he won't be able to just pass to Clarkey anymore.

“Kurt's style of play is very robust - he creates openings and is no slouch in front of goal.”

Harrow have taken just two points from the last 12 and Howell is demanding an improvement from his players.

“It's about time we pulled our socks up and get on with it,” he added. “After Saturday we play Tonbridge again in ten days and we've got to start taking our chances. Two points from 12 is not good form but we should have won those games comfortably.”

Our prediction: If Harrow finally take their chances in front of goal they could win handsomely, but do not be surprised if it ends up all square at 1-1.
