Queens Park Harriers maintained their purple patch with victory at Watford last weekend.

The third triumph in a row means they will win promotion if they can overcome Stevenage in their final match of the season on Saturday.

New recruit Daniel Peart Movter excelled in the 100m by marking his debut with a third place time of 12.8 before coming second in the 400m B string.

Another promising star, James Walerych, ran a personal best 5.37 in the 1500m which earned him fourth place while the evergreen Bill O'Connor came third in the 1500m B event.

Other contributors to team glory were steeplechasers Brendan Green (11.21.5 in the A string) and Richard Davis (14.26 in B string), and 800m winner Wayne Roye (2.08).
