JAMIE Hand looks to have played his last game for Hayes & Yeading.
Hand was in the starting XI for Saturday’s embarrassing 6-2 defeat at Chelmsford that proved fatal for United manager Nas Bashir.
He was sent off for a second bookable offence on the stroke of half-time against the Clarets, a decision former boss Bashir agreed with.
It is not the first time Hand has seen red for United but it would appear this weekend’s dismissal was his last for the club as he is set to be ostracised.
Hand is on loan from Blue Square Premier outfit Mansfield and only left Hayes & Yeading in the summer after a dispute over a club fine.
His return at the start of the year was a surprise and perhaps a last act of desperation from under-pressure Bashir as he looked to correct the slide.
United renewed Hand’s loan from the Stags for another month a matter of days ago but the Gazette understands he will no longer be considered for selection.
And the fallout from Bashir’s departure continues as the Gazette understands the full-back Dan Spence has been released from the club.
