IT WAS high Moone for the second time in five days when the Hampton & Richmond striker smashed home a brilliant strike to take the FA Trophy clash to a replay on Monday night.

Beavers and Chelmsford City have it all to do again at the Melbourne Stadium in Essex, where next time come hell or high water there has to be an outcome – despite Charlie Moone’s leveller on 63 minutes.

The chances of high water are strong after rain lashed the game, before, during and after.

Max Cornhill's 53rd-minute poacher’s goal for City was not enough to see the FA Cup giantkillers making progress in this competition as well. And even Chelmsford boss Glenn Pennyfather was impressed by the team from a division one further back.

"They're a confident side,” he said. “We played the same team last year and won 4-0, which shows what confidence offers you."

"Our goal led a charmed life at times, and the pitch was very slippery and was cutting up.

Moone’s (pic) double helped Beavers to a 3-2 replay win over Leiston on Tuesday night after Saturday’s third qualifying round stalemate.

And he was again in the right place before the Chelmsford woodwork rattled three times in barely a minute.

Moone first found the frame, followed in quick succession by Mo Harkin and Joe Turner.

And straight after, Harkin’s well-hit shot from the edge of the box brought a sharp save from young keeper David Wootton making his debut for the Clarets.
