Des Gaylor was the sole representative of Kenton Road Club to tackle the Hemel Hempstead CC 10 mile time trial at Leighton Buzzard on Saturday.
He finished fourth out of 35 starters with a time of 22.17. Race winner was Dutchman Wouter Sybrandy (Sigma Sport) in 20.35.
Meanwhile, Kenton's Brendan Heaslip and brothers Des and Dave Gayler all finished in the main field at the midweek 32-mile LVRC event at Hillingdon.
Kenton Sunday Club chairman Gino Goddard was one of several members who rode around the Wexham, Burnham Beaches and Beaconsfield areas recently. Others included Dave Thurtle, Carl Bond and Ray Green, and all returned to Harrow safely after the 45-mile trip.
