FULHAM'S chances of qualifying for Europe next season have been given a major boost after UEFA confirmed England have been awarded an extra Europa League place.

England, Norway and Sweden topped the Respect Fair Play rankings, securing an extra spot in the competition that Fulham reached the final of last May.

The side who finishes top of the Premier League's Fair Play league will be awarded the back door into Europe.

Mark Hughes's men are battling it out with Spurs and Blackpool for the spot up for grabs with just Sunday's game against Arsenal left to play.
