NICKY Forster is hopeful of keeping Robbie Neilson, Adam Reed and Nathan Byrne at Brentford for the rest of the season.

The loanees were Forster's first signings since taking over from Andy Scott last month, and have helped the Bees climb up the 14 th place in the League One ladder.

However, they are due to return to their parent clubs after Saturday's clash with Leyton Orient.

The Brentford boss plans to sit down and talk with the trio later today, who have all told the Gazette they want to stay at Griffin Park .

Leicester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has given already the green light for Neilson to extend his loan in TW8.

And Forster hopes his counterparts at Sunderland and Spurs will do likewise regarding midfielders Reed and Byrne.

He said: "I will sit down and speak to them on Thursday and see what their thoughts are. We're interested in keeping all three of them.

"They have played games and done well. They've added a lot of quality to us.

"We've kept in touch with their parent clubs and have given them feedback and DVDs so they can monitor how their players are doing. Thing like that go a long way."
