HARRY Forrester will now have showdown talks with Brentford sporting director Mark Warburton on Monday.
The out-of-contract Bees star was given 10 days to make up his mind whether he wanted to stay at Griffin Park or not by Uwe Rosler, giving the Bees boss ample time to find a replacement if Forrester leaves.
With the deadline passing earlier this week, all went quiet on the Forrester front, but Warburton insists while Rosler is on holiday, he will not be issuing another ultimatum to the winger.
Warburton said: “I will have talks with Harry on Monday next week. There is no deadline. Harry has been away on vacation, and it's an important decision he's got to make.
“My opinion is the best place for him is to stay at Brentford Football Club, and we only want players who want to be here.
“He is a very talented player who had a real hot streak last season, but he could go back to square one if he goes elsewhere.”
