BRENTFORD defender Shaleum Logan has stepped up his return to injury after returning to full training.

The former Manchester City full-back has been sidelined for almost two months after damaging ankle ligaments in the win at Exeter in August.

But the 22-year-old has now resumed full sessions with his team-mates at Jersey Road, and has been pencilled in for a run-out in the development game against Crystal Palace next week.

Boss Uwe Rosler said: “Shaleum's back in training and will play for the development squad next week. He's an important player for us.

“Thommo [Adam Thompson] has done very well and filled the gap brilliantly, but Shaleum's a different type of player.”
