Former Crystal Palace winger closes on Dons comeback

KIERAN Djilali will make his first appearance for more than two months in this evening's friendly with Havant and Waterlooville.

KIERAN Djilali will make his first appearance for more than two months in this evening's friendly with Havant and Waterlooville.

The AFC Wimbledon winger hasn't featured for the first-team since the FA Cup clash with Scunthopre back in November, and suffered another hamstring injury the following month playing for the reserves.

However, the former Crystal Palace star is back in full training and has been pencilled in for a run-out at Westleigh Park.

Chalfont St Peter striker Charlie Strutton will also feature for the Dons as he bids to earn a deal with the League Two outfit.

Fringe-players Jack Turner, Fraser Franks, Callum McNaughton , Chris Bush, Reece Jones, Ricky Wellard and Christian Jolley are also in line to feature.
