HAYES & Yeading have completed the signing of former AFC Wimbledon midfielder Frankie Merrifield .
The Gazette yesterday revealed a decision was imminent on the future of Merrifield and we understand the details of the move have been completed this morning.
Merrifield has been a regular starter for United this pre-season following his release from the League Two club at the end of the campaign.
Merrifield made six appearances for Wimbledon last season and scored in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Southend.
But he failed to feature for Neal Ardley’s side after November and was shipped out on-loan to Harrow Borough in the Ryman Premier.
His Dons contract was cancelled by mutual consent and Hayes & Yeading manager Phil Babb immediately looked to tempt the youngster to the Conference South.
