WEALDSTONE'S Kieron Forbes has been backed to get over the disappointment of failing to make the grade at Northampton Town.

The former Watford Academy midfielder recently spent two weeks on trial with the League Two side but hardly featured in any competitive games.

He spent the first week doing nothing but running work, something which irked his manager at Wealdstone, Gordon Bartlett.

He said: "Kieron will be with us next season as nothing materialised with Northampton. A lot of these lads go off to professional clubs for a few weeks but sometimes don't get an awful lot out of it.

"He's come back very disappointed but has reacted very positively. I believe in Kieron 100 per cent and he will be a very important part of our squad for next season." ..SUPL:
