PAUL Anthony’s run of 180s has got Feltham Constitutional Club A dreaming of promotion to the Hampton & District Thursday Darts League Premier Division.

Anthony has thrown six maximums in 12 games, 11 of which the Feltham side have won to put them 27 points clear at the top of the first division.

Clubmate Gary Butler (pictured) is no slouch either, throwing five 180s in eight games for the Constitutionals’ E side, but it has done them little good as they sit second-bottom of the sixth division.

However, their record is not as bad as the B side’s at Bedfont boozer Duke of Wellington, who prop both the division and the league up after suffering 11 defeats from as many games.

The pub’s other sides are not having a great time of it either, with the Ds second-bottom of the fifth division and the Cs bottom of the fourth division.

There is better news at the other end of the fourth for Hounslow sides, with Feltham’s General Roy leading the way, followed closely by Isleworth’s Milford Arms B and Feltham Railway Club.

Bedfont Sports Club’s A and B sides could be meeting in the first division next season, with the Bs second-bottom of the premier and the As second in the second division.

RBL Isleworth are second in the third division, but Feltham’s Airmen and Brentford’s Inverness Lodge are in danger of being cast adrift at the bottom. RBL Hanworth’s Dennis Wheeler, meanwhile, has checked out highest on 155.
