Gordon Bartlett hopes familiarity breeds success for the rest of the season after revealing he plans to stick with the side that has won five of the last six league games.
Saturday's defeat to Ryman Premier leaders Dover Athletic was Wealdstone's first in the league since the 3-2 home reversal to Canvey Island in mid-October, yet that good run has propelled them into the top ten.
And Bartlett is now putting his faith in the same group of players to build momentum again as they dare dream of the play-offs, starting with this Saturday's trip to Hastings United.
"If you had said to me we would take15 points out of a possible18 I would have been delighted, and I am," said the manager. "If we can maintain any sort of consistency like that again this season I will be happy.
"I think we've got a good squad of players and I won't be making wholesale changes (for Saturday), and I hope this will be the case for the rest of the season. There will be a couple of little tweaks here and there but we must maintain that positive mindset, which I think we lost a bit of last weekend."
Wealdstone gave as good as they got for the first half against Dover but once Andy Hessenthaler's men sneaked in front via a questionable penalty there was only one side in it.
"I don't consider it to be a blip as I know we can play better than that," added Bartlett. "The lads were disappointed with their performance, collectively. It was a negative result and we will aim to bounce back on Saturday."
And what does the manager make of Saturday's opponents?
"Hastings are similar to us in that the had a poor start to the season before doing quite well. They only lost 1-0 to Cambridge City last weekend and it will be another tricky game for us. I said some time ago that these five games would be hard for us and we've won three out of the four, so it would be nice to make it four out of five. We will go into the game with an open mind."
New signing Danny Spendlove could be in the frame for his first start after coming on as a second half substitute against the Whites. The midfielder had agreed to sign for Stones in pre-season only for Cambridge City to make a late swoop for the former Ware player.
However, he only made 11 appearances for the Milton Road club, scoring three goals in the process.
"I signed him in pre-season but Cambridge City came in with a seven day notice of approach before he had even kicked a ball for us," said Bartlett. "But he is a very good player and will be a great asset. People keep asking me why we need another midfielder but he can play wide right Ñ we have not had a right sided attacking player. He also provides a foil for Monty (Graeme Montgomery), who I can use in other positions."
