GARRY Haylock will wait until the summer before deciding whether to throw his hat in the ring to be the new Hampton & Richmond Borough manager.
The former Farnborough boss, who led Hayes & Yeading into the Conference National, ironically with a play-off final win over Hampton, and kept them there for two years, admits he is interested in the job.
Following a spell in charge at Bedfont Town last season, Haylock has been doing some scouting for at Football League side Exeter City this term.
He said: “It's a difficult one for me as if someone leaves I could be assistant manager at a League Two side in the summer, so it all depends on what happens at the end of the season.
“I will give the Hampton chairman a call at some stage. I have met him and before and he seems a decent guy.
“This time last year I would have been battering down his door. It looks like a good club, and one of only a handful of jobs I would be interested in.”
