WINGER Ishmael Welsh is in line for a move to Hayes & Yeading after quitting relegated Ebbsfleet United.

The speedy 22-year-old left winger is on the way back from a knee operation that brought his one-season spell to a premature end at Ebbsfleet, who were relegated from the Blue Square Bet Premier last season.

Former West Ham trainee Welsh played professionally for Yeovil Town, before stints at Torquay United and Grays Athletic.

Welsh sat out Hayes' first friendly match against Beaconsfield SYCOB, but he is back in full training and manager Garry Haylock (pictured) wants to sign the player to add pace to the left flank after the departures of James Mulley and Dale Binns.
