DON'T tell the missus – but all Jake Bidwell wants for Valentines Day this year is his loan stay ay Brentford extended.
The Everton youngster has been a revelation at left-back since joining Brentford on loan from Goodison Park earlier this season.
He was such a hit that his initial one-month stay was extended to mid-February, but Bidwell, who is keeping Craig Woodman out of the side, wants to until the end of the season.
He said: “I not too sure what's happening at the moment. All I do know is that my loan is up on February 14.
“I would love to stay longer if Brentford are happy for me to stay, as I love being a part of what we are doing here, and you can't beat playing first team football.
“Nothing has been said yet, and both clubs might have more pressing concerns at the moment, but I'm sure we will get something sorted soon.”
