EVERTON youngster Jake Bidwell has extended his stay at Brentford by a further month, the Chronicle can reveal.

The Toffees left-back, who has already had his loan deal extended once, was due to return to the Premiership side following last night's 2-1 defeat at Colchester.

However, Bees boss Uwe Rosler moved quickly to secure Bidwell's services for a further four weeks, until mid-March.

Rosler said: “Jake's stay will be extended by a month. He is happy here, Everton are happy for him to stay, and he is doing really well for us.”
