On Saturday 20th October third-placed Esher make the short trip to Vallis Way to face league leaders Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club (ETRFC).

Esher, who were relegated from the Championship last season have not struggled to adapt to life in National One and are now firing on all cylinders, having won five of their last six games.

ETRFC, who are one of the favourites for promotion, still remain unbeaten this season, winning six and drawing one of their opening seven games. This is the home sides’ third derby of the season and the somewhat fierce derbies have not failed to disappoint so far this year.

ETRFC finished second in the National One table last year, just missing out on promotion to the Championship by only a few points. There is no reason to suggest why the in-form West London club cannot go one better this time around.

The club will be hoping to cement their position at the top of the league with another victory against their promotion-chasing rivals.

ETRFC have announced that there will be a mobile bar along with a barbeque for the fans during the game. For ticket information or any other ETRFC queries please contact Craig Bowley at crc@ealingrugby.co.uk.
