AFC Wimbledon duo James Mulley and Jamie Stuart are set to leave the club on loan next week.
Axed skipper Stuart held talks with two League Two sides on Saturday while Mulley is in discussions about returning to Hayes & Yeading.
While the identity of Stuart’s suitors is yet to be confirmed, one of the clubs is believed to be Andy Hessenthaler’s Gillingham.
The defender is believed to be keen to link up with his close friend, and former AFC Wimbledon favourite, Danny Kedwell.
Dons boss Terry Brown said: "James Mulley is trying to get himself sorted out with Hayes and Jamie Stuart is having talks with two League Two clubs today (Saturday). Hopefully we can get those sorted out before March 22."
Mulley made one league appearance for Hayes & Yeading earlier this year before his one-month stint at Kingfield got cut short because of an ankle injury.
