WEALDSTONE'S Ryman Premier play-off dream is over after they lost 3-1 at champions Dover Athletic on Saturday.

Gordon Bartlett's side battled gallantly at the Crabble Stadium in front of more than 1,000 fans but Andy Hessenthaler's men were just too strong and broke the 100 point mark with a game to spare.

Both AFC Hornchurch (4 th ) and Carshalton Athletic (5th) won with Dartford, who were also victorious, and are just a point behind seventh placed Wealdstone with a game in hand.

The Stones fell behind to an early Matt Fish goal while Sam Gore doubled their lead shortly after half time.

Frannie Collin's sublime goal drew appaluse from both sets of fans before Greg Ngoyi grabbed a late consolation goal for the Stones to maintain his purple patch.
