AFC Wimbledon target Emmanuel Oyeleke is willing to go on loan if he fails to force his way into Brentford's first-team squad.

The highly-rated youngster is wanted by the League Two Dons, as exclusively revealed by the Chronicle in May.

Wimbledon coach Simon Bassey cast his eye over the 20-year-old during last night's friendly win against Millwall.

And Oyeleke is ready to get game time elsewhere if he's surplus to requirements at Griffin Park.

He said: “I went on the tour to Germany and have played a lot of games, so on a personal note it's been a good pre-season so far.

“I want to play first-team football, as does any player regardless of what level you're at, so I'm hoping to do well here.

“I've heard there's a bit of interest elsewhere. If the club are happy for me to go out and it's the right move then who knows?

“But at the moment I'm just focused on trying to get in the squad at Brentford.”
