BRENDAN Kiernan has dealt a blow to AFC Wimbledon's plans for next season after slapping in a transfer request.
The Dons winger stunned boss Terry Brown by asking for a move away from Kingsmeadow – just four months after signing a two-and-a-half-year deal at the club.
Kiernan came through the Wimbledon ranks after being shown the door by Crystal Palace.
The 19-year-old was handed his debut last year, but has gone on to make just 10 appearances this season, mostly as substitute.
Kiernan spent a spell out on loan at Braintree Town, but has grown frustrated by his lack of first-team football at the League Two club.
