AFC Wimbledon have made striker Charlie Strutton available for loan.

The former Chalfont frontman scored three goals in 17 games last season, but his only appearance this term came as a late substitute in Saturday's defeat at Chesterfield.

And boss Neal Ardley wants to send the 24-year-old on loan to get regular first-team football.

He said: "We might look to do something with Charlie to help his development.

"He probably won't get much playing time at the moment apart from bit-parts.

"For his sake I want to give him a month somewhere so he can get a run of games, stay fit and score some goals then come back to us full of beans."
