SAMMY Moore will not be rushed back into the AFC Wimbledon fold after being struck down with illness.
Moore missed most of last week's training programme with a sickness bug and only took part in one full session ahead of Monday's defeat to Barnet.
That game was considered too soon for the former Chelsea youngster and Dons boss Neal Ardley will not gamble on the midfielder if he is not 100 per cent ready for a return to action.
“He was sick and was off for a whole week last week,” Ardley said.
“He only came back and trained for one day and he looked like he'd lost a little bit of weight.
“He needs a full week's training really before we can put him back in. We'll see how he is and see what role everybody can play.”
Ardley will monitor the fans' favourite's fitness levels this week before making a call on whether to include him in his squad to face Bristol Rovers this weekend.
