AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown admits he could start the season without a target man.
Brown only has Jon Main, Danny Kedwell and Luke Moore at his disposal, and has been in the market for a big centre-forward to boost his options.
Former Brentford striker Calum Willock could be the final piece in the Kingsmeadow jigsaw, and played in the friendly victory over FC United on Saturday.
But Brown wants to cast his eye over Willock one more time before making a decision on his future, and says he might have to make do with what he's got for the curtain-raiser with Luton in less than a fortnight.
He said: "We are hoping to have another look at Calum Willock, but we fully understand his situation as he wants to get settled, so we will be making a decision sooner rather than later.
"If necessary, we could start the season without another target man. I'm not under any pressure to get everything right at this stage of the season, so if we run with what we've today got I'm ok about that."
