NEAL Ardley is pondering a loan move for Charlton Athletic striker Michael Smith .
The Dons boss (pictured) is keen to add the finishing touches to his new-look squad before the season gets underway at Torquay on August 3, with another frontman top of his list.
Smith has only made a handful of first-team appearances for the Addicks, but has spent time on loan at Accrington Stanley, Newport County and Colchester.
Dons have raided Charlton for Yado Mambo and John Sullivan in recent times, and are understood to be weighing up a move for Smith to fill the void in their frontline.
