TERRY Brown has confirmed his interest in former Brentford full-back Sam Wood .
The Dons boss is in the market for a new left-back after releasing Gareth Gwillim and Chris Bush last month as part of a massive summer clear-out which saw 14 players shown the door.
Wood, who can also play in midfield, made 126 appearances during a four-year stint with the Bees, scoring five goals before he was released at the end of the season.
The Chronicle revealed on Friday that the 25-year-old was among Brown's targets as he looks to rebuild his squad for a second season in League Two.
And the Kingsmeadow chief has confirmed he has held talks with Wood over a switch to the Dons.
He said: "Sam Wood's a possibility. We've had talks with numerous left-backs.
"He's a versatile player and definitely one on our radar."
