AFC Wimbledon are closing in on a keeper or two as back-up for James Pullen.

With Andy Little not expected to play until the new year, boss Terry Brown only has Pullen and rookie Jack Turner available ahead of the Blue Square Premier kick-off in two weeks time.

However, former Brentford shot-stopper Seb Brown has caught the eye during pre-season, as did ex-Crystal Palace keeper David Wilkinson in Tuesday night’s 2-0 defeat to Brighton.

Another Palace youngster, Keiran Thorpe, has been released.

Assistant boss Stuart Cash said: "Keiran was not what we were looking for, but Seb and David have really impressed us and we will be pursuing both.

“Seb has played two games for us and been excellent, while we saw enough of David in one game to be speaking to his agent - he is very composed for a young lad."

Meanwhile, Brett Johnson is expected to sign on the dotted line next Saturday, when his PFA payments following his release by Brentford stop.
