AFC Wimbledon will give skipper Alan Bennett a fitness test this morning ahead of tomorrow's clash with Scunthorpe United.

AFC Wimbledon will give skipper Alan Bennett a fitness test this morning ahead of tomorrow's clash with Scunthorpe United.

The Dons defender limped out of Saturday's defeat at Exeter before the break with a hamstring injury.

Bennett has also been struggling with calf and Achilles problems in recent weeks, but boss Neal Ardley will give the centre-back the chance to prove his fitness before selecting his squad to face the Iron at Kingsmeadow.

Rhys Weston is on stand-by to replace him if the Irishman fails to recover in time, with Will Antwi not ready for a return to action following a hernia operation.
