TERRY Brown has ordered fitness freak Christian Jolley to take a breather over the summer break.
The Dons forward had a mixed debut season in the Football League, where he scored seven goals in 41 appearances.
Jolley started out like a house on fire, with five goals in just four games during the early part of the campaign.
However, a combination of injuries and suspension slowed him down after Christmas as he added just one more to his tally.
Jolley admits he's itching to hit the ground running when the players return for pre-season training next month, but boss Brown has told the 24-year-old to take it easy over the close season.
“I've been told to have a rest over the summer to let my body recuperate,” said the striker.
“It's not going to be easy because I normally go hard in the summer and spend a lot of time running and in the gym.
“I'm struggling with shin splints at the moment and the manager wants me to go easy.
“It will be tough. I'm going to have to find a new hobby!”
