BRENTFORD are yet to strike a deal with Doncaster Rovers for winger Harry Forrester.

The former Aston Villa youngster is believed to have agreed a three-year contract with the Championship new-boys after rejecting improved terms at Griffin Park.

However, the Bees are entitled to compensation as Forrester is only 22 and was offered a new deal in TW8.

Doncaster could unveil Forrester as early as tomorrow, but the Chronicle can reveal Rovers still haven't agreed a fee for the highly-rated midfielder.

Brentford sporting director Mark Warburton said: “We are in discussion with Doncaster to try and reach an agreement.

“In our mind Harry Forrester is a very good asset.”

The fee will be decided by a tribunal if the two clubs fail to agree a compensation package.
