CLAYTON Donaldson feels he still has a point to prove at Brentford.
The former Crewe frontman has smashed 35 goals since his arrival at Griffin Park on a free transfer two years ago.
However, Donaldson is in the final 12 months of his contract in TW8 and is yet to be offered an extension.
But the 29-year-old hotshot believes he's still got work to do to earn a new deal.
“I've been in this situation before when my contract's running down,” said Donaldson. “It doesn't worry me at all.
“I've still got a job to do to impress the manager and owner to show I'm worthy of another contract.
“I still feel I've got a point to prove, regardless of what's happened in previous years.
“I've got a year left and hopefully I can help the club get to where they need to be and I'll be rewarded.”
