ROBERTO Di Matteo has rubbished speculation linking Fernando Torres with a summer move away from Stamford Bridge.
Reports in the Spanish press suggested the Blues were prepared to offload the Chelsea striker to Atletico Madrid, with Radamel Falcao coming in the opposite direction.
Torres made more than 200 appearances for Madrid, scoring 84 goals, before his move to Liverpool in 2007.
However, Blues interim boss Di Matteo insists he expects the £50million frontman to be at the Bridge next campaign.
He said: “It's just speculation. I am very happy with Fernando. I believe he will be here next season.”
