ROBERTO Di Matteo's representatives are remaining tight-lipped on speculation linking the former West Brom boss with the Brentford job.

The Italian is understood to be on a three-man shortlist for the role, along with St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes .

McInnes has held talks with the Bees about the post, while Di Matteo is also high on their wish list.

However, the Italian's management company, Athole Still Football Limited, refused to comment on the rumours when contacted by the Chronicle this afternoon.
