CURTIS Osano insists he's over his injury hell and is desperate to earn a new deal at AFC Wimbledon.
The Dons defender has been dogged by an ankle problem this season, which has restricted him to just 16 starts since his switch from Luton Town last summer.
However, the former Reading trainee finished the season on a high by featuring in the final two games as Wimbledon escaped the drop on a dramatic final day.
Osano is out of contract in the summer and is due to hold talks with Neal Ardley in the next week, but the right-back hopes to be given another chance to prove his worth in the Football League.
He said: “The season was very disappointing on a personal level.
“I was injured before a ball was even kicked and spent months out with my ankle problem.
“It picked up towards the end and I'm glad I could play a part in keeping us up.
“It was my worst-ever year in terms of injuries, I've never known a season like it.
“I'm out of contract next month but hopefully I will get another chance because I would love to stay.
“I could've stayed at Luton for more money last year but I wanted to play in the Football League.
“Now I've had a taste I want more. I've definitely got unfinished business here.”
