KARLEIGH Osborne will step up his return from injury in this afternoon's development game with Cambridge United.

The Brentford defender hasn't played a competitive game for four months after suffering a foot injury in the home defeat to Stevenage back in October.

Osborne was dealt a further blow in his recovery in January when he picked up a dead leg in training, which led to another spell on the treatment table.

The 23-year-old saw a January move to Championship club Reading fall through due to doubts over his fitness, but the centre-back is back in full training and has been pencilled in for a run out in the game with Cambridge at the club's Jersey Road training ground.

Harry Forrester is also expected to feature as he closes in on a return to the first-team fold.
