Defender added to Dons squad for Italy trip

RHYS Weston's chances of earning a deal at AFC Wimbledon were given a boost after he was added to the squad for the pre-season training camp in Italy.

RHYS Weston's chances of earning a deal at AFC Wimbledon were given a boost after he was added to the squad for the pre-season training camp in Italy.

The former Arsenal and Cardiff City defender has been with the Dons since returning to the UK from a stint playing in Malaysia.

Weston has impressed in pre-season friendlies and boss Neal Ardley has decided to have another look at the 32-year-old ahead of the game against Monza on Saturday.
