FOOTBALL League side Dagenham & Redbridge will next week run the rule over Hampton & Richmond Borough striker Mo Bettamer.

The 20 year old Libyan only signed on for another season at Beveree a few weeks ago, but has been handed a trial by Wayne Burnett's Daggers side.

Bettamer, who has also played for Hayes & Yeading, North Greenford United, Bedfont Town and London Tigers, showed glimpses of his potential last season, including a hat-trick against Three Bridges.

By coincidence, Bettamer was once a Bedfont team-mate of Jon-Jo Bates, who had a successful trial at Dagenham and signed by then-Daggers boss John Still, but was later released.

Bates started last season back alongside Bettamer at Hampton & Richmond, but was let go to Harrow Borough by former Beavers boss Mark Harper.
