Cracknell and Yankey to help kids get into sport

OLYMPIC champion James Cracknell and England Ladies footballer Rachel Yankey will be the guests of honour at Sunday's Gunnersbury Park Sports Jam.

OLYMPIC champion James Cracknell and England Ladies footballer Rachel Yankey will be the guests of honour at Sunday's Gunnersbury Park Sports Jam.

Youngsters aged six to 16 can try their hand at a whole range of sports, including football, rugby, boxing, basketball and dance, from 1-5pm.

All the events are free, although on-site parking will cost £3, and goody bags will be handed out to participants.

More than 1,200 attended last year's jam, so pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Download an application form from brentfordfccst.com

Cracknell will be in attendance from 2.30-3.30pm, and Yankey from 3-4pm.
