CARL Cort hopes his last-gasp equaliser against MK Dons will earn him a start against Brighton tonight.

The former Newcastle frontman hasn't started a game for the Bees for four months, but came off the bench to earn a deserved draw against the Dons on Saturday.

And he hopes to get the nod from the off at the Withdean rather than continue to warm the bench.

He said: "It's been a long time since I last started. I wanted to go out there and show I can score goals, and we were a bit disappointed we didn't win the game.

"I'll take the opportunity when I get it. I'd love to get out there and have a bit more time."
