JOHN TERRY will miss Chelsea’s trip to title-chasing Manchester City tomorrow night.

Terry has been struggling with a knee injury and was substituted during the Blues’ dramatic Champions League win.

The Chelsea skipper will play no part at the Etihad Stadium but boss Roberto Di Matteo is confident the defender will be fit to face Tottenham on Saturday.

Di Matteo said: “We have almost a fully fit squad. Oriol Romeu is still sidelined and John Terry - it’s still probably a bit too early for him.

“He did very well to come back in such a short period so I think we were lucky that he came back so early. He should be fine for the weekend.”

Chelsea currently lie fifth in the Premier League, trailing Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal by three points.
