SALOMON Kalou has been bombarded with Twitter abuse following an interview in which he appeared to question the future of boss Carlo Ancelotti .

Kalou, 25, this week said of the Blues boss in an interview: "We don't make the decision. We're here to play for the club. We're happy to work with anyone. That's for the board to decide.

"The players are going to give their best on the pitch and that's the most important thing."

This was taken by some fans as a sign of disloyalty, and the striker received a stream of abuse.

One 'fan' sent a message to Kalou's personal twitter feed, @Skalhuno, saying: "We're happy to work with anyone"???? **** YOU KALOU!! Now please **** off and not score goals for some other club you ****!"

Kalou defended himself, tweeting: "In life you can't never loved by everybody! What's matter is being true yourself! Love u all."

He continued: "People all I was trying to Say is that The team Chelsea is what matter the most not the individuals! People come n go ! Not the team:("

Finally, he protested his loyalty with the tweet: "Coach I love you :) I heart Chelsea Fc:) Goodnite:) stay blessed."

The abuse of a minority has resulted in a great deal of support for Kalou from thousands of other fans on the social networking site.
