TIM Norton came out on top at the Oakland Park Golf Club Seniors’ Captain’s Day – but the real winner was charity.

Norton scored 40 points, one ahead of runner-up Stephen Addley who edged John Jamieson into third on count back.

And the day, which included hole sponsorships, raffles and other donations raised nearly £2,000 for the paediatric trust fund at Hillingdon Hospital – the chosen charity of this year’s seniors’ captain Terry Smith.
