NIALL McGinn has set himself a target of 10 goals after scoring the opener in Saturday's win against Hartlepool.

The Northern Ireland international answered Bees boss Uwe Rosler's call for more goals from his midfielders.

It was only McGinn's third of the season and his first since September, but he went close more than once against Hartlepool and is convinced he can nudge up to double figures for the campaign.

“The manager's always told me to get behind the two strikers for flick-ons, and thankfully I was in the right place at the right time,” he said of his strike.

“There was a bit of luck involved, obviously, but if you don't get in there, you don't score. I was due a goal, I think, and hopefully there's more of that to come. I'm enjoying it here and if I keep adding a few goals to my game, I'll love it even more.”
