AFC Wimbledon are weighing up a move for out-of-contract Brentford striker Ross Montague.

Dons boss Terry Brown is in the market for a target man to compliment fellow frontmen Jon Main, Danny Kedwell and Luke Moore.

Montague's contract at Griffin Park expired last month, but is still training with the Bees trying to earn a new deal.

Brown is also running the rule over former Reading youngster Kelvin Bossman, and admits he could also be the final piece in his striking jigsaw.

He said: "We haven't spoken to Ross, but we're open to anybody who isn't tied up at another club. That could be Ross."
