NICKY Forster is hopeful that Charlie MacDonald's twisted ankle is not as bad as first feared, even though it was the same joint he damaged at Exeter last month.
The striker (pictured) went off in the first half after a stiff and illegal challenge from Brighton's Radostin Kishishev and did not even attempt to run off the injury.
But the Bees boss does not believe it is serious enough to cast doubt on his participation in next month's JP Trophy final at Wembley.
“It looked quite nasty when he initially went down, motioning that he was in trouble,” Forster said. “But I don't think it's quite as severe as that. Hopefully it's not too bad.”
